Why I Wrote What I Wrote:

I didn't actually come by this job; rather, client sieved me out from the pool of freelancers on one of the portals I am in.

Client needed series of ten 500-word articles each to be churned out periodically, featuring a spectrum of interest areas from career matters to personal health. Upon receipt of titles, I would research on content before writing. It felt rather like technical writing at times but there is a sense of accomplishment after each series (plus, I increased my general knowledge content from all that research I did). Regrettably, I had to decline this on-going job after two series due to other commitments and time constraint.

Why I Wrote What I Wrote:

IFI Academy is a new-spun educational company set up to provide a platform for the sharing of real and relevant business knowledge within the industry sectors. Previously handled by ION8, all collateral have since been transferred over to IFI. Other than copies for the online frontages, client also needed materials for publicity of their seminars and books. Pretty substantial project that will continue till June.

Why I Wrote What I Wrote:

Another job from Harilela to translate their HR forms for staff who are not comfortable with the English language. The really challenging part was to align text in both languages in the same document and keep within the same space constraint and layout as much as possible.

Why I Wrote What I Wrote:

Happened to be chatting with a vendor one day and found out that they are running some events this year and wanted to get more funding for them. Since I had just completed a sponsorship kit for my agency I modified that template to suit their music school's needs.

Why I Wrote What I Wrote:

A job from a company of the Harilela Hotels group managing the airport hospitality services at Singapore Changi Airport; they needed someone to run through the text created for their new website, by someone else. The only tedious part of the job has to be indicating the grammatical and structural errors on printscreens.

Why I Wrote What I Wrote:

My agency boss have been in discussion with the same guy I'm ghostwriting for and both are keen to run a series of seminars in March 2011. We explored ideas on how we can bring in sponsors so of course the things we'll need to touch base and introduce ourselves would be a proposal brief. Then if they are interested to take it further, a sponsorship kit. Rather a lot of information to bring to black and white but still an interesting job to do.
